Key learning outcomes

The Bachelor's professional study programme focuses on the preparation of creative and practically equipped erudite workers operating at the middle management level in cultural institutions and in the process of production of cultural programmes and creative products or activities with a focus on the fields of visual arts, new media, audio-visual, design, graphic design and applied arts, which form a substantial part of the cultural and creative industries. The study focuses on the training of production staff with creative potential and practical knowledge necessary for the processes of planning, organization, development, implementation and management of creative activities at the level of various types of art and cultural institutions, design studios, workshops and workshops focused on applied arts, festival productions, but also in the field of state administration and local government, respectively cultural policy of the Czech Republic and the EU. The study as a whole, as well as the individual study subjects included in its curricula, deal with interrelated issues of cultural operation, creative management, production of cultural programmes and creative products or activities (various types of festivals, exhibitions, shows, workshops, cultural networking, co-working and new media events, game design, etc. ) and at the same time gaining knowledge of the wider current cultural and artistic context and the role of cultural and creative industries in the process of empowering individual communities, improving quality of life, aspects of sustainable development and environmental responsibility. The position of production for CCIs is closely related to the possibility to initiate and support creativity and cultural visions and to move the potential of CCIs in their respective regions through different formats of cooperation.
