Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to the definition of cultural and creative industries (CCI) within a historical context, with a focus on contemporary aspects of CCI. Emphasis is placed on presenting CCI through case studies. The course highlights CCI with overlaps into the realm of EU cultural policy (Creative Europe, the European Agenda for Culture in a Globalizing World) and aims to address the current state of CCI by defining strategies and priorities. The course is supplemented by a series of lectures featuring experts from various CCI fields, who share their industry know-how and examples of specific projects implemented with innovative approaches.
The acquired competencies represent the mastery and application of knowledge in the given field, based on the specific course description and aimed at fulfilling the graduate profile.
