The main objective and purpose of the course Professional Practice in Production for CCI is to gain experience in production work processes, develop production skills, strengthen team communication, and expand professional networks. The professional practice, amounting to 480 working hours, is individually agreed upon and scheduled with a contracted institution. The recommended structure for the student?s professional practice is 4 working days over 15 working weeks (i.e., 480 working hours), although the final number of practice hours can be distributed over a longer time frame if necessary. A partial goal of the practice is to familiarize the student with the organizational structure of the selected institution, assist in the implementation of activities, actively engage in the preparation and execution of outputs within the organization, and independently complete assigned tasks in consultation with the practice supervisor from the host institution or the course coordinator. The course coordinator, the student, and the practice provider (including the supervisor) collaboratively create a practice plan and schedule, which will be evaluated at the end of the student?s practice (supervisor?s evaluation report, student?s self-evaluation report, and a debriefing meeting between the student and the course coordinator). As part of the course, the student will also focus on identifying and specifying expectations from both the intern and the organization, and will be able to assess these expectations upon completion of the practice.
The acquired competencies represent the mastery and application of knowledge in the given field, based on the specific course description and aimed at fulfilling the graduate profile.
