1. Introduction to project thinking, mind maps, definition of project activities and characteristics of aims 2. Terminology of project management ? project manager, project role and goals, focus groups, differentiation of sources 3. Project methodology and approaches ? comparison of traditional and agile methods 4. Life cycle of the project and opportunities ? phases of project, types of open calls, obstacles on the way to support 5. Project initiation and justification ? hierarchy of project objectives and basic project questions 6. Preparation phase ? grant opportunity analysis, project charter, project plan, project quality 7. Planning of project ? structure of activities and activities of individuals and team, time sequence, responsibility matrix 8. Planning of project ? cost planning, demonstration of application of selected techniques in planning processes 9. Project management ? theoretical minimum of a project manager 10. Project implementation phase ? kick-off, operational management, management of project communication 11. Project implementation phase ? project documentation during implementation, promotion strategy, mediamonitoring 12. Project risk management ? identification, reporting of risks, analysis strategies, targeting of priorities, monitoring

Learning outcomes
|
The course, conducted in English, focuses on deepening knowledge and skills in arts management and project management while introducing the step-by-step process of project preparation. Students will learn to plan and communicate a project (including its core idea, objectives, and outputs) in a foreign (English) language. They will be able to define both quantitative and qualitative outputs, articulate potential project risks, formally draft a project funding application, and prepare a basic financial report. Participants will acquire fundamental project management skills in English. The course includes practical examples, and students will develop a grant project proposal.
The gained capabilities constitute an encompassment and an aquirement of knowledge and experience in the given field of study, they result from a concrete annotation of the subject and are aimed at a profile´s fulfilment of the graduate of the given field of study.
