The course introduces students to the world of creative techniques, focusing on graphics and drawing, both from a theoretical framework and a practical perspective. Thematically, the course explores the concept of the imprint and its use as a means of communication ? the medium of print throughout human history. During the course, we will demonstrate techniques of fine art printmaking, and examine both theoretically and practically the principles and possibilities of relief printing, planographic printing, intaglio, and stencil printing. We will delve into aspects of creation, drawing, imprinting, and image multiplication. The aim is for students to overcome personal limits, both mental and manual (skills), and to gain an understanding of the specificities of materials and the procedural aspects of printing. We will combine material, structural, and chemical approaches to creating matrices. The objective of this course is to develop students' imagination while fostering an awareness of the creative processes, understanding the relative temporality involved in creative performance, and introducing them to artistic or creative work processes.
The acquired competencies represent the mastery and application of knowledge in the given field, based on the specific course description and aimed at fulfilling the graduate profile.
