Key learning outcomes In the Cultural Studies and Historiography subjects, the graduate acquires the theoretical apparatus and knowledge enabling him/her to orient himself/herself in political, cultural and ideological history of the geographical area of Centra Europe. Interdisciplinary study and intercultural potential, especially in the context of Czech-German relations, is also a central aspect of literary and linguistic subjects. In addition, knowledge and practical skills will be imparted in literary studies courses so that graduates can formally and contextually analyze literary texts and reflect on their contemporary and current reception in changing historical contexts. Linguistically oriented courses comprehensively convey theoretical knowledge and specific terminology, classify and contextualize them. On a practical level, linguistic courses help develop and make natural students' language skills and communicative competence.
