Related to the topics discussed, individual language skills will be practiced. Basic topics: 1. Everyday life, everydayness 2. Language, dialect, arts of communication, modern media 3. Study, internship, job According to the needs of students and the subject matter in the textbook, grammatical structures are practiced on an ongoing basis. 4. Conjunctions andernfalls, folglich, außer wenn etc. and their use 5. Verbs with separable and inseparable prefixes 6. Nominalization and verbalization 7. Noun (subject, object) subordinate clauses

The aim of the course is to develop the overall skills of speaking German, to repeat grammar and increase competences in grammar, to expand vocabulary, improve the oral and written expression, and learn about the culture in German-speaking countries. It is a follow-up course to Practical Language 1 and 2 and it develops all the linguistic competences on the B2-level of CEFRL. It is expected to master the lessons 1-3 of the textbook Aspekte neu C1.
The student - knows the vocabulary and grammar to the extent related to the topics discussed, - understands literary text, written and spoken texts, and dialogues containing idiomatic expressions, - can write a structured essay, a complaint, a newspaper article and takes notes while listening, and interpret the text using the notes, - can prepare for discussion based on their own research on the topic. |
