Key learning outcomes The aim of the study is to educate a graduate of the Cultural History programme, who will have expert knowledge and skills in learning about history and cultural history (in the first place, fine arts in the broadest sense and literature, or written heritage of past centuries). The graduate will be equipped with a quality theoretical foundation, especially in the field of Czech history in the European or general context, art history, more broadly conceived history of culture and related disciplines. This education will eventually serve them for the further development of their own research creative activity, to which they will be directed within the bachelor's thesis (and moreover in any further study in the field of education of Historical Science). They will get acquainted with the general values of cultural heritage preservation and will be able to care for them in accordance with specific standards and procedures. According to the framework assignment and allocated resources, they will be able to coordinate the activities of the team that solves a specific task within the currently valid rules of care for cultural heritage and take responsibility for its results. Related to this is their ability to evaluate the ethical dimension of the issue, which the study emphasizes in its entirety. The student will be able to independently acquire additional expert knowledge, skills and competences on the basis of mainly practical experience and its evaluation, but also by independent study of theoretical knowledge of the programme.
