Key learning outcomes The following are the main educational goals in the area of philology: - Acquiring knowledge in specialist branches of philology (in particular those diachronically oriented) and their methodological approaches - Specialization in one of the branches of relevant philology - Deep practical knowledge of individual themes of the selected subject - Acquiring deep knowledge of relevant literary works (primary literature), based on students´ own reading, on their analysis of selected segments of the given literary titles and on their studying corresponding secondary literature - Acquiring complex knowledge of the state of the art in the particular branch of philology, which will enable students to make use of original ideas and develop their critical thinking.
