The goal of the seminar is to provide more insights into the problems of literary translation from German into Czech. On the basis of three literary texts about the Elbe as a connection between the Czech and the German there will be solved concrete translators problems. The students build tree groups and train teamwork at the same moment. The results of their efforts will be presented at the Night of literature (30th November), which organisation the students will support.
Students will gain an overview of the three literary texts first. Then they will train to translate them and to work in a team. The results of their efforts will be presented at the Night of Literature with the student´ s cooperation. |
