| Key learning outcomes | The three-year bachelor courses of Teacher Training for Nursery Schools is designed to equip the graduate with theoretical and practical professional knowledge and with skills, which are necessary for fulfilling the role of a nursery teacher. The emphasis is placed both on theoretical and practical training for working with preschool children. The graduate is able to apply acquired knowledge and skills which enable the graduate to competently lead and manage the educational process in a nursery school. It is a complex of knowledge and intellectual skills in pedagogy and psychology, special education and nursery school management. Graduate profile consists of key competencies which enable the graduate to perform the profession of a nursery school teacher competently and support his professional and personal development. In terms of practical education, the study enables graduate to develop deeper skills and talent in music, art, physical education and drama, as well as to master the methodology and specifics of these subjects for pre-school age. The graduates may work as teachers in nursery schools of state and non-state type, in alternative nursery schools and nursery schools in hospitals. | ||||
