1. Learning foreign languages - facts and stereotypes. 2. History of teaching foreign languages, grammar- translation method. 3. Current knowledge about foreign language learning. 4. Neuro-linguistic programming. 5. Communicative learning. 6. The ways of learning foreign languages, types of learners. 7. Learning and teaching vocabulary. 8. Learning and teaching grammar. 9. Learning and teaching reading. 10. Learning and teaching speaking. 11. Learning and teaching writing. 12. Learning and teaching listening. 13. Active approach when learning foreign languages.

Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to make students familiar with current methods of teaching and learning foreign languages.
The course improves skills necessary to study foreign languages and teaches current methods used for teaching foreign languages. Considering the fact the course takes place in English language and particular activities are presented on English language it improves students´ own language skills. (speaking, reading, listening and writing).

Úroveň jazyka B1 podle Evropského referenčního rámce.
