Course content
- Motivation introduction, selected examples of the use of digital technologies in contemporary special education local, network and cloud solutions, the specifics of special education applications for common operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS). - The current development of digital technology and its educational implications, trends, BYOD concept of digital literacy. - functional digital literacy, skills, standards and RVP, School for the 21st century, the digital strategy of education by 2020. - Elearning in the learning process, LMS Moodle, webinar, mooc. - repository of learning objects (DUM RVP, Khan Academy), project based learning, digital stories eTwinning. - ICT in formal, non-formal and informal education of persons from socially and culturally disadvantaged backgrounds. - ICT in the education of pupils with special educational needs. - Using ICT to compensate the affected functions. - Strategy of digital education for the 2016-2020 period.

Learning outcomes
Students will learn about the possibilities of using information and communication technologies (ICT) in special education in the context of existing framework educational programs, strategies digital learning to r. 2020 current world trends (eg. Mooc - public open online courses) and specialized of special education applications. Educational content will be first presented at the theoretical level, then students learn to work with selected applications. Teaching materials are specifically chosen in electronic form - text documents, multimedia presentations and lectures, and educational applications, teaching method is called. Blended e-learning. During contact teaching (exercise) students theoretically familiar with the underlying principles and basics of control applications, which will subsequently be alone (excluding exercise) to develop and deepen the correction of specific problems and the creation of custom online educational project (students without home computers with broadband Internet access will be available as an alternative to the PC room in the complex UJEP).
Students know the current digital educational applications, their influence pedagogical paradigms and job opportunities in the educational process. Students can work with selected digital technologies and can practically be used in the education process (Moodle, webinar, DUM RVP). According patterns can design and prepare educational material for the LMS Moodle. Students know the specifics of use of digital technology in the education of people with special needs, including people from disadvantaged socio-cultural environment.
1) Completion of the course Digital technology the first course in the segment of courses focused on the use of digital technology in the study and teaching practice. 2) Students should have their own computer device (BYOD concept - notebook, tablet, smartphone etc.) that is connected to the EDUROAM academic network, see the connection procedure at Computers in the classroom K139 are intended only for those who temporarily do not have their own equipment. 3) Students should have a functional access to the system STAG (online). Students are expected to verify in advance the functionality of their access following the instructions at, menu items "Access Data" and "Enter the system". 4) Students should have a functional access to the LMS Moodle ( Students are expected to verify in advance the functionality of their access following the instructions at, menu item "Registration for students and course designer."

Assessment methods and criteria
Ability to apply lectured at both the sub practical examples as well as collectively. Credit conditions: 1) Preparation of documents for practicing sub-themes and their commitment in the store LMS Moodle: 2) Completion of the online test. 3) Verify functionality processes and practical skills in the rights of the selected applications. Further clarification of the requirements by the tutor.
