Course content
The course focuses on the introduction to the issue of the media-politics relationship, both in theoretical and historical perspective, with a special focus on prevailing contemporary phenomena such as political scandals, methods of spin-doctoring and political PR, false reports, etc. and their impact on both the political process and wider public. Last but not least, the use of Web 2.0 and new media in current political communication will be interpreted. The course will be designed as a structured critical presentation of given texts.

Learning outcomes
