Learning outcomes
The course is focused on the European integration process in the context of europeanisation and euroscepticism of the party-political actors. In addition to the theoretical background and the different interpretation of the concepts of europeanisation and euroscepticism, the attention will be also paid to the issues addressing the possible transformation of party-political actors on the basis of the process of europeanization. Attention will be paid to the sphere of politics (political parties and interest groups), but also the spheres of polity and policies.
Students will gain the ability to interpret theoretical approaches regarding the concepts of euroscepticism and europeanisation, and to characterize and compare the main features of these concepts in selected countries. Students are also able to apply selected theoretical concepts within a particular political system both at national level and at the (sub) state (regional, local) levels of government.

The course has no prerequisite courses and assumptions.

The students are required to write a term-paper or present a report focusing on some of the aspects of euroscepticism or europeanisation.
