Course content
Reading and Interpreting the English Text by Roger Scruton: Masaryk, Kant and the Czech Experience. The papers will focus on confronting Masaryk's concept of democracy and the concept of its predecessors, performers, critics and contemporary authors. The aim of the course will be to compare and confront Masaryk's political philosophy and political philosophy of its Czech and foreign critics.
