Learning outcomes
This seminar is intended for preparation for the final examination in literature of German speaking countries. The aim of the course is to revise and deepen knowledge in the history of literature gained during the Bachelor´s degree program. The course emphasizes diachronic perspective and genre evolution. It also focuses on systematic preparation for the topics of the final examination according to the selected topic based on read literature and study of secondary literature.
Student " can understand various literary genres not only in their cultural and historical context but also complex and diachronically in terms of their evolution in various literary epochs " is able to deepen his/her knowledge in selected topic based on self-study, he/she can apply acquired knowledge in interpreting literary text in broader context and handle it in terms of current literary discussion.
