Course content
The course covers four textbook chapters (9.-10., Aspekte B2, 1.-2., Aspekte C1). In connection with the discussed topics all language skills will be practiced. Basic topics: 1. Feelings and emotions 2. Future, visions 3. Weekday, everyday life 4. Study, practice, job

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to improve and develop the speaking skills, perfect the grammar skills, extend the vocabulary, practice independent speaking and writing and learn about the German speaking countries. This course is a follow-up to Communicative Competence I and II and it continues improving the language skills at the level B2 of the CEFR.
Student " knows the vocabulary and grammar related to the discussed topics " can understand literary texts, written and spoken texts and dialogues containing idiomatic expressions " can write an essay using argumentation, a letter of complaint, newspaper article, take notes while listening and based on the notes interpret the text " can get prepared for a discussion on a given topic based on own searches.

Assessment methods and criteria

Credit requirements: Active participation, students must successfully complete required tasks - hand in three writings (essay - argumentative writing, formal letter - letter of complaint, newspaper article), presentation, pass the credit test (70%).
