Dresden - 1st day a) series of lectures on selected topics (e. g. working with literary texts in class, didactics of literature, dramatizing literature) b) workshops (dramatizing and visualising literature, scenic reading) c) visiting a theatre performance, taking part in a discussion with the authors 2. Learning outcomes

The two-day intensive block seminar will be part of the Days of Czech-German Culture and it will take place in Dresden (1 day) and Usti nad Labem (1 day). The aim of the seminar is to make students familiar with current as well as historical aspects of cross-border cultural transfer in the Czech-German cultural and literary context. Special attention will be paid to didactic aspects.
Students will gain an insight into current Czech-German culture, they will become familiar with approaches to literature and they will improve their German language skills.
