Students learn how to specify scientific questions and formulate theses. In addition to that, students learn more about current scientific linguistic theories, approaches and methods.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is a general reflection of scientific linguistic terminology and theoretical positions necessary for the final examination. Furthermore, the course helps develop the students' scientific argumentation and prepare them for writing their thesis exposé.
Students are able to use scientific linguistic terminology, they are well-informed about current scientific linguistic theories and they can specify issues relevant for a given subject.
