Course content
1. - 3. Writing of a research text in humanities and its methodologies. 4. - 8. Structure of the diploma thesis and its variability (introduction, conclusion, order of chapters, critical apparatus, list of sources). 9. Different types of texts in the humanities and their structure.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to support the quality and timely processing of the final diploma thesis. Attention is also focused on the formal and stylistic parts of the thesis's elaboration, as well as on the ability to report on the results of the research in front of a professional audience.
Students will gain the following professional abilities: - to process, submit and defend a sound diploma thesis. - to work methodically, not randomly, and in accordance with methodologies of the humanities. - to accurately analyze and interpret texts. - to structure the whole of the thesis and individual chapters appropriately. - to uses a critical apparatus. - to write the text professionally and clearly. - to defend the thesis in front of a professional
