Learning outcomes |
The subject introduces basic elements of English syntax and provides students with all necessary knowledge in the field. The student is supposed to understand the sentence complexity and is also able to see the grammar overlaps and functions of individual grammar units.
The student is able to identify sentence and clause types, parts of speech and the way they are realized in a sentence. The student is also able to describe functions of speech parts and is able to understand sentence structure of an English sentence. |
