Learning outcomes
This course focuses on extending the language competence of students, especially on developing their ability to communicate, read with understanding and extend their vocabulary. Another aim of this program is to strengthen the knowledge and usage of grammatical structures together with good acquisition of linguistic terminology using selective work and supplementing the textbook with further material meeting the students' level including newspaper texts and film and other recordings. The students will also be directed towards the development of their writing skills by practicing the simpler forms of description, story, summary, etc. in order to reach a common and correct use of these forms within their future teaching practice.
