Course content
The course provides students with skills that are based on current knowledge in the field of modern physiotherapy. It is taught at specialized workplaces of medical institutions, including spa. It leads students to work independently on a quality professional level. The aim of the course is to acquire the ability to apply used physiotherapeutic methods, procedures and concepts on the neurophysiological basis, which are the basis for processing the thesis, especially in the areas of internal medicine, rheumatology, oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, surgery, traumatology, pediatrics including procedures for examination of the locomotor system and internal systems. Students complete professional continuous practice of their choice in the departments of medical institutions and in accordance with the requirements specified in the Journal of Professional Practice (Internal Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Pediatric Department, Rehabilitation Department, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Outpatient departments) based on the contractual relationship between FZS UJEP with selected medical institution supervised by AP FZS.

Expertise: Student is able to specify individual indication areas, list and describe diagnoses of the indicated indication areas, actively use physiotherapeutic procedures, methods and concepts. Professional skills: Student is able to demonstrate the acquisition of professional skills in outpatient and clinical care. He participates in the creation of an individual physiotherapy program within a multidisciplinary team. General eligibility: The student is able to apply the acquired practical skills into practice.
