Course content
Lecture topics: (2 hours) 1. Introduction to the subject Methods of kinesiotherapy (explanation of basic terms ? PIR, PFS, RI). 2. Soft tissue techniques (examination and treatment of skin, subcutaneous tissue, fascia). 3. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation ? concept principle, diagonals HK+ scapula. 4. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation ? DK diagonals, special techniques. 5. Concept of resistance exercises according to R. Brunkow/ Acral coactivation therapy. 6. Sensorimotor stimulation. 7. Brügger concept. 8. SPS according to MUDr. Laughter. 9. Repetition. Exercise topics: (3 hours) 1. Examination and treatment of soft tissues (skin, subcutaneous tissue, fascia). 2. Examination and treatment of soft tissues (PIR trunk muscles and DK). 3. Examination and treatment of soft tissues (PIR muscles HK). 4. Traction. 5. Pelvic examination and mobilization. 6. Examination and mobilization of peripheral joints DK. 7. Examination and mobilization of peripheral joints DK. 8. Examination and mobilization of peripheral joints HK. 9. Examination and mobilization of peripheral joints HK.

Learning outcomes
The course builds on the information gained in the subjects profiling the basis of the study program of physiotherapy and provides knowledge of modern methods of movement therapy. In the form of theoretical - practical students will acquire these methods and use them in professional practice. The aim is to gain theoretical background and master practical skills that are part of physiotherapeutic procedures.
Expertise: The student is able to explain the principles and procedures of examination and therapy of the above mentioned physiotherapeutic methods and to justify their use in practice. Professional skills: Students can perform examination and mobilization of peripheral joints HK, DK, pelvis, examination and treatment of soft tissues and choose their use in clinical practice. General eligibility: Student is able to practically examine and mobilize peripheral joints HK, DK and pelvis. He is also able to use basic Kenny therapy, he can perform basic examination and therapeutic procedure according to Smíšek, Brügger concept and McKenzie concept.
