Course content
Lecture topics: 1st and 2nd consultations: Anatomy and function of the locomotor system under physiological and pathological conditions. Function and dysfunction of peripheral joints. Influence of the internal environment and internal organs on movement. Special examinations for limb joints and spine. Seminar topics: 1st consultation: Entrance interview, analysis of interview data, aspect and functional examination. Examination tests on extremity joints and spine. Self-Study: Normal and pathologic motoric function of pelvis. Anatomic, biomechanical and neurophysiological aspects of movement ontogenesis. Analysis of walk, engagement of the limbs and axial system, biomechanical factors. Normal and pathologic motoric function of UL and LL joints. Kinesiologic basis of painful back syndromes, ontogenesis.

Learning outcomes
The subject is based on knowledge of the subject Kinesiology I. It is focused on the analysis of human body systems functions, it covers the application of movement analyses in the preventional movement activities and the knowledge of pathologic conditions. The subject is also focused on differential diagnostics, on primary causes of functional dysfunctions of the motoric system.
Subject Knowledge: Student knows normal and pathologic function of the joints and can classify it into complex motoric functions and prototypical activities. He/she also knows the ways how pathological syndromes of the body parts and muscular strings affect movement. Subject Skills: Student can perform a functional diagnosis of different areas of the motoric system based on targeted anamnesis, aspection and functional examination, can tell how distant causes affect the motoric system. Student can analyse the anamnesis and perform a differential diagnostics of the motoric problems.
