Learning outcomes
The subject introduce to basic problems in the process technology field. It acquaints with process principles occurred in the industry, with basis principles of the machines and equipments utilized in industry processes and connected with theirs operation. It enables to utilize obtained knowledge in factories that deals with chemical, food and consumption industry.
- the student is well versed in the field of pumps and compressors, can dimension these devices and choose the type from the catalog (according to pressure losses) - the student gains an overview of the basic principles of chemical and food processes, is able to perform basic balance calculations, is familiar with the principle and technology of production of basic production lines used in the chemical and food industry - Students can apply in design, construction, decision-making and management teams of industrial enterprises.
