Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with environmental impacts of transport and possible ways of resolving conflicts in the region. Attention is paid to economic and technological context of the problem. Students will be acquainted with the current state of environmental load and transport development in the CR and abroad. Accent will be on the search for environmentally friendly alternatives, not only technological but also socio-organizational. Environmental problems of transport for automobiles, rail, water and air will be discussed at the course.
The student is able to describe transport policy and environmental policy in the Czech Republic The student is able to name and describe various aspects and influences of transport Students can enumerate and explain various forms of measures to mitigate the negative effects of transport The student is well versed in environmental issues of transport The student is able to describe and enumerate indicators of sustainable transport development
