Course content
|
1. Safety at work in machine operations. 2. Smithy - free forging, individual work of students. 3. Press shop - demonstration of pressing on a small pneumatic press, cutting. 4. Foundry - demonstration of casting and solidification of casting. 5. Machining - basic calculations in machining. 6. Manual machining - demonstration of work, machining machining demonstration of turning. 7. Machining - milling demonstration. 8. Excursion to aluminum foundry. 9. Excursion - production of pressure vessels (cutting, bending, machining, welding). 10. Excursion - production of internal combustion engine components. 11. Submission of semestral work and its presentation. 12. Credit test - credit.

Learning outcomes
|
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is aimed at acquainting students with basic engineering technologies and practical testing of selected operations - forging, pressing, machining and welding. Teaching takes the form of laboratory exercises and excursions in blocks.
After completing the course, the student is familiar with the issue of basic engineering technologies.
