Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with the methods of identification of the location, extent and causes of faults and with the consequences of diagnostics for further economic and safe operation of equipment and strategies of economic repairs. The subject acquaints with basic principles of scanning and measurement of non-electrical quantities and their use in technical machine diagnostics, diagnostic procedures, signals and their processing, as well as with basic diagnostic systems, devices and techniques as a means to ensure reliable and economical operation of machines.
1. student is able to describe selected methods and procedures of technical diagnostics 2. student is able to use selected methods and procedures of technical diagnostics in basic application areas 3. the student is able to use the technical-economic aspect in determining the optimal diagnostic interval
