1st The role of transport in society 2nd Transport policy and environmental policy 3rd Economic aspects of transport 4th Social Aspects of Transport 5th Adverse effects of transport on the environment (components of the environment: air, water, soil, biodiversity, landscape, accidents and waste issues) 6th Health risks of transport 7th Disposals to mitigate the negative impacts of transport (road modifications - ecoduct, noise abatement disposal, modification of vehicles and fuels, promoting environmentally friendly and disabled-friendly modes of transport, spatial planning) 8th Energy consumption and raw material intensity of transport 9th Indicators of sustainable transport development 10th Examples of good practice in the CR and abroad

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with environmental impacts of transport and possible ways of resolving conflicts in the region. Attention is paid to economic and technological context of the problem. Students will be acquainted with the current state of environmental load and transport development in the CR and abroad. Accent will be on the search for environmentally friendly alternatives, not only technological but also socio-organizational. Environmental problems of transport for automobiles, rail, water and air will be discussed at the course.
