Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject introduces the basic problems in the field of waste disposal not only in the energy sector, but in all areas of human activity. Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is focused mainly on the area of solid waste, introduces students to the basic principles of waste management, their use up to final disposal (disposal). It will enable the students to use the acquired knowledge in energy and industrial plants in the area of waste management.
Student will be able - explain the basic principles of energy recovery from waste, - apply them to common practice cases - can explain the principles of waste management - after completing the course, will be able to assess mutually the ways of recovery, - perform basic calculations in thermal balance of technologies.
