Course content
1) Introduction to philosophical anthropology. The place of man in cosmos. Contexts and core of human existence. 2) Humans as biological beings I: version of anthropological difference 3) Humans as biological beings II: self-referential systems, ecological situatedness. 4) Humans as social beings I: social systems, sociality 5) Humans as social beings II: cultural systems 6) Humans as beings of boundaries: questioning, concept of boundary, incomplete animal 7) Humans as cognitive beings I.: types and forms of human cognition 8) Humans as cognitive beings II.: self-consciousness, interiority, soul, Geist 9) Humans as cognitive beings III.: personhood, autonomoy, freedom, dependence 10) Humans as historical beings: narativity, hermeneutical situation 11) Humans as technological beings I: extension, medium, technology 12) Humans as technological beings II: technosphere, hybrid beings 13) Humans and transcendence

Learning outcomes
The target of the course is to become oriented in significant issues of philosophical anthropology and present main trends and their representatives. The course will be divided into lectures and seminar reading, where the key texts will be presented by the authors.
Understanding the basic concepts and movements of philosophical anthropology Ability to analyze and interpret basic texts of philosophical anthropology Ability to distinguish between different movements and intention of philosophical anthropology.
