Learning outcomes |
The target of the course are selected topics of contemporary psychology, specific syllabus is continuously updated. The course will get students acquainted with new psychological and psychotherapeutic movements and findings concerning the psychological aspects of Czech and global social development. The course will be focused on current issues in the field of psychology of helping professions, political and social psychology and psychology of religion. The aim of the course is to deepen understanding of psychological thinking and possibilities of use of psychological concepts in the interpretation of social phenomena.
Students will acquire the following academic knowledge: - get oriented in the psychological and psychotherapeutic movements - understand the specifics of helping professions related to so called "Helper syndrome" - can use psychology in the interpretation of current social and political events |
