Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to get students acquainted with the theory of revolution through a critical analysis of the work written by Hannah Arendt, which is dedicated to this topic. The course is also focused on the differences between war and revolution, the legitimacy of revolutionary violence, the causes of revolution, establishing a new order and the reasons for successes and failures of revolutions.
Students will gain an orientation in the theory of revolution through the critical analysis of the work of Hannah Arendt.

Participation in the seminar (tolerated absence up to 20%, with the exception of justifiable cases more than 20%) - consistent preparation for seminars - 1 prepared presentation in the seminar for the duration of 10 minutes.
