Course content
|
This course will deal with specific didactic procedures and methods in foreign language acquisition at an early age. Students of the proposed range of topics (I and my family, school, living, hobby) will propose different language games that will be presented to the colleagues in the seminar. In the subsequent discussion of the topic further possibilities of the given themes will be proposed.

Learning outcomes
|
The main goal of this obligatory elective course is to motivate German language learners to study foreign languages and pass on this motivation to their pupils. This course is focused predominantly on practical results and outcomes of this course. On the basis of specific language games students will get acquainted with the possibilities of motivating their pupils to learn foreign languages.
Every students will be able to motivate his/her pupils to learn a foreign language, to build a positive relationship to languages altogether. The student is able to independently design didactic procedures methods, specific methods, and to prepare specific exercises and tasks for pupils at the primary level of foreign language learning.

Prerequisites
|
This subject does not require any prior knowledge of German, it is suitable for beginners in the selected foreign language.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

An active participation in the seminars is expected along with elaboration of partial tasks. Within the course the tasks will also be performed, for instance the processing of a language game on a given subject.
