Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to strengthen the students' writing competence at the levels C1 and C2, considering especially the essay as the text type covered in the Master-exam. Analysing different kinds of essays the participants will get to know the purposes, the structure and the characteristic styles of this text type. On the basis of the students' written compositions, different grammatical problems that can emerge while producing demanding texts are discussed. The students will also learn strategies to improve their style of writing. Furthermore, the participants will become familiar with the requirements of the Master-exam via examination-simulations.
