Course content
Preparatory Phase: During the course of this phase the students will get acquainted with the content and organization of the whole conference, which is expected to host 150 participants from 45 countries of the world. They will be divided into groups according to the organizational area under the professional leadership of one member of the organizational team of the Department of German Studies. Implementation Phase: Under the professional guidance of a member of the organizational team from the Dept. of German Studies the students will be responsible for organizing the allotted partial section of the conference: - Accommodation of conference participants - Refreshments during the course of the conference - Technical support in individual sections - Services provided by guides (field trips)

Learning outcomes
The main aim of this course is to get students involved in the preparation of the International Conference of German Studies making use of the form of their active participation in partial organization tasks and thus acquiring practical experience in this area
The students participating in this course will acquire a professional insight into the problems of Intercultural German Studies in the world context and at the same tome practical experience with the preparation of a significant international conference.
