The development of the spinning apparatus in the postembryonic stages of cribellate spiders has not been described sufficiently. The subject of the research were
the youngest nymphal stages of the cribellate species Amaurobius ferox, Nigma flavescens, Nigma wackenaeri, Titanoeca quadriguttata and Zorocrates guerrerensis, whose spinning apparatus is formed by 3 pairs of spinnerets and by cribellum, which is associated with the presence of calamistrum. It has been proved the presence of up to 7 types of glanc participating in thread producing, whose primary function can change during ontogenesis. The cribellum develops from a knobby base, referred to as the precribellum, which has the appearance of a colulus and is homologous, like the cribellum, to the anterior median spinnerets of the spiders of the infraorder Mesothelae. The development of cribellum in the youngest nymphal stages is manifested by an increase in the area of perforated spinning fields and an increase in the width of the cribellum.

Evoluce pavuků probíhala ve třech hlavních, evolučních liniích, jimiž jsou infrařády Mesothele, Mygalomorpahe a Araneomorphae. Infrařád Araneomorphae je s téměř čtyřicetitisíci druhy nejpočetnější. Velká část těchto druhů je vybavena, kromě snovacích bradavek, ještě přídatným snovacím orgánem – kribelem.
Úkolem DP bude prostudovat stavbu snovacího ústrojí, snovacích bradavek a zejména ultrastrukturu spigotů nejmladších postembryonálních stádií několika čeledí kribelátních pavouků.
Pavouci nejmladších postembryonálních stádií budou získáni vlastním odchovem a sběrem v jarních měsících r. 2022
