Od 70. let 20. stol. se rozvinula věda, která zkoumá faktory štěstí v souvislosti s životní spokojeností. Cílem této práce je zjistit, zda denní doba a dny v týdnu ovlivňují štěstí člověka, zdali existuje rozdíl ve vnímání pocitu štěstí mezi ženami a muži bez ohledu na věk a taktéž to, jestli je pátek nejšťastnějším dnem v týdnu. Zkoumání bylo prováděno na dotazníkovém šetření, u kterého proběhl sběr dat v letech 2019-2021 v Ústí nad Labem. K vyhodnocení dat byly využity statistické testy a regresní analýza. Výsledky této práce přinesly náhled do způsobu, jak mohou být nasbíraná data ovlivněna denní dobou a časem při kterém byl sběr dat prováděn. Výsledky prokázaly, že dny v týdnu ovlivňují životní spokojenost lidí, ale u denní doby tomu tak není a vliv nebyl prokázán. Dále bylo zjištěno, že pátek pro lidi není zcela šťastným dnem, jak se může na první pohled zdát.

Since the 1970's a science that studies factors of happiness correlating with life satisfaction was developed and expanded. The goal of this study is to find if the daytime and the days of the week influence the happiness of a person. Further on, it studies if a difference exists between how men and women interpret the feeling of happiness. The study was conducted via. survey. The collection of this data took place in Ústí nad Labem from 2019 to 2021. Static tests and regression analysis were used to determine the results of this study, the results brought insight as to how collected data can be influenced by the time of day and the time the collection was carried out.he results proved, that days of the week influence life satisfaction, although the time of day showed no correlation and wasn't proven. Furthermore, it was noted, that Friday isn't as happy of a day as it may seem at first glance.
