Dále kategorizací idiomů do semantických kategorií.
The work maps the tendencies of colour idioms. These are idioms which consist of a colour lexeme and at least one more lexeme. It also attempts to categorize colour idioms semantically. Some published conclusions about idioms are tested on colour idioms, whether they apply. The practical part attempts not only to answer the research question, but to reflect the findings of linguists who study idioms and idiomaticity.

In its theoretical part, the thesis explores idioms and idiomaticity as defined and described by various experts. In this process it hopes to select or synthesize hypotheses which can be tested in its practical part.
In its practical part, the thesis aims to analyze all established colour idioms in hope to categorize them, and in hope to answer the research question which then falsifies the hypothesis or will not manage to falsify it.
Hypothesis and research questions will be developed during the theoretical research, likewise the research and methodology.
