Diplomová práce se orientuje na charakteristiku cílové skupiny zákazníků prémiové značky DS, což pomůže následnému definování targetingu jejího produktu. Značka DS spadá pod francouzskou skupinu PSA Group a vystupuje v segmentu automotive.
v podobě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a dotazníku. Nedostatky byly nalezeny
v současných marketingových aktivitách.

The goal of this thesis is to characterize target customers of premium brand DS, which should help to define targeting of its product. This brand belongs under PSA Group and operates in the automotive industry. DS brand leadership has no clearly defined characteristics of its targeted customers in the Czech Republic, which are important for subsequent marketing steps. The survey of this thesis was performed on current and potential customers using quantitative and qualitative methods. Specifically by halfstructured interviews and questionnaire. Thesis also dealt with the perception of DS brand in positioning. Achieved results of this work showed that these two groups of customers were similar in majority of examined characteristics in framework of so called customer profile. It was also found that, in the predominantly investigated sample of customers, the DS brand was perceived as premium. However, the presence of customers who did not see it as a premium was not entirely negligible. Weaknesses have been found mainly in current marketing activities.
