s přílivem saských imigrantů a vstřícnější legislativa umožnily zakládání
samostatných evangelických sborů. Naprostou výjimku představoval evangelický
sbor saských úředníků založený po dostavbě železnice v roce 1851 v Podmoklech.
Ještě před polovinou století některé venkovské obyvatele oslovila novobratrská misie
z Ochranova (Herrnhut). V letech 1860-1861 několik desítek osob přestoupilo
k evangelické církvi, neboť církev bratrská nebyla v zemi povolena. V 60. a 70. letech
19. století zde byly založeny tři farní sbory, postaveny evangelické kostely a
provozovány evangelické školy.

The Patent of Toleration of the year 1781 cleared the way for activities of two
Protestant churches in the Habsburg Monarchy. In the two borderland regions of
North Bohemia chosen for analysis - the regions of Děčín and Šluknov - from the
period before the year 1620 was, exceptionally, preserved the Lutheran religion,
whose followers from Zadní Doubice (Hinterdaubitz) visited church on the Saxon side
of the border. Also, the regions were continuously settled by Saxon immigrants who
were not organized within the structures of the Lutheran Church. Only after the
commencement of industrialization and the subsequent wave of Saxon immigration
was made possible the establishment of independent Protestant choirs. Absolutely
exceptional was the Lutheran choir of Saxon officials in Podmokly that was founded
after railroad had been finished in 1851. Already before the year 1850 the mission of
the renewed the Moravian Brethren Church from Herrnhut instigated the popular
religious movement. In 1860-1861 several dozens converted to the Lutheran Church,
because the Moravian Brethren Church was not permitted in the country. In the 60s
and 70s of the 19th century there were established three parish of the Lutheran
Church, there were built the Lutheran churches and the Lutheran School were
