Bakalářská práce "Analýza společenských tříd, rasy a pohlaví v Sherlocku Holmesovi: knihách a televizních seriálech" se zabývá výzkumem tří hlavních společenských problémů, jimiž jsou společenská třída, rasa a pohlaví, v Americe a ve Velké Británii. Každá kapitola poskytuje základní informace o historii daného společenského problému, jeho současný stav a poté analýzu konkrétního problému v knihách o Sherlocku Holmesovi (napsané Sirem Arthurem Conanem Doylem) a v současných televizních seriálech o Sherlocku Holmesovi. Tato práce využívá k analýze seriály s názvem Elementary (produkce CBS) a Sherlock (produkce BBC).
