Krátké seznámení s historickým vývojem, z hypotéz do dnešní, moderní podoby a formulace.

It contents a brief introduction to the historical development of the Linguistic Relativity from its roots to the state of the art form. Theoretical and practical aspect elaborates on the findings of scientific research and explains in what way and to what degree the language/s we speak may or may not affect the way we think about concepts such as grammatical gender, space and time.
As a part of the practical aspect it attempts to conduct its own research and collect date in the form of tests and questionnaires, to compare and interpret the results of these data and come to conclusions about questions and hypotheses raised in the theoretical part.

In my work I will mention brief history of Linguistic Relativity(LR) and the origin of the first hypotheses. I will then talk about the development of LR. over the years. Explain the attitudes toward and views on LR: Is it realistic, is it not, and why? I will try to answer questions such as: "What does LR. exactly says and how do we look at it today?" "What does linguistic relativity bring to us, how does it help us to better understand people and language as a tool of expressing ourselves?" "What is the future of language and our ability to express though as it appears in our minds?" etc.
In the practical part I will do my best to illustrate how LR. affects people not only on the edge of languages but as individuals within mono-linguistic society.
