Main areas: 1. Theoretical principles of electrochemical methods (potentiometry, polarography, voltammetry, Conductometry etc.). 2. Use of these methods in chemical analysis. 3. The use of electrochemical methods for the study of mechanisms of chemical reactions. 4. Use of electrochemical methods for the study of solids, the use of solid electrodes, or other less common electrodes, the measurement of surface properties of substances, and the like.
