Learning outcomes
1. Materialography - structure metallography. Metallographical second method of testing - the essence of sample preparation equipment for sample preparation. 3. Principle and the use of electrolytic polishing. 4. Procedures for sampling - cutting, preparation, grinding, polishing and etching. 5. Basic division metallographic methods. 6. Optical macroscopic optical microscopy, metallography color and its use. 7. Optical methods highlight the color contrast - polarized light and differential interference contrast. Eighth Image analysis and quantitative metallography. 9. Qualitative and quantitative assessment of structures according to standards. 10th laser microscopy and its utilization. 11. Electronic microscopy and EDS analysis. 12. Structure and defects in iron and its alloys. 13. Structure and defects in aluminum and its alloys.
