The course introduces the basic knowledge necessary for the evaluation of the measurement including calculation errors and uncertainties in measurement results and regression analysis. Random variables, the most important probability distributions, point and interval estimates. Errors and measurement uncertainty at directly and indirectly measured variables when measuring analog and digital devices. Basics of regression analysis, least squares method. Basic rules of correct measurements, interpolation methods, measurement methods.
