The course introduces the procedures and methodology of materials selection, depending on the required functionality and performance of components. The choice of material and its determination will be different for different categories of products - chemical equipment, transport equipment, food machines, manufacturing machines etc. The specific products will be determined by the procedure of choice material, creating alternatives of choice in terms of material properties and the possibility of using alternative materials or improve properties material other modifications.
Students will be able to make a practical choice material in the manufacture of machinery parts and components with respect to mechanical, chemical and physical properties of the material, economic efficiency and ecological aspect. |
