Learning outcomes
The course acquaints students with individual methods of welding, soldering and gluing materials and introduces their specifics, possibilities of use, respectively. compares the suitability and substitutability of these technologies. It introduces the basic concepts of welding / surfacing / soldering and describes the principles of individual methods, including methods of thermal separation. Furthermore, basic information from the field of weldability of used construction materials is presented, especially with regard to the issue of welded metallurgy. Finally, attention is paid to promising technologies of gluing and glued joints, which today represent an important method of joining materials and components, especially in relation to the automotive industry.
Knowledge of the principles and possibilities of joining metals and non-metallic materials Orientation in the individual methods and the ability to determine the appropriate method Knowledge of the properties and capabilities of material joining the different methods
